Waiver Policy
APTISI Transactions on Technopreneurship (ATT) is committed to promoting equitable access to academic publishing and supporting researchers from diverse institutional and economic backgrounds. To ensure that financial considerations do not become a barrier to disseminating high-quality research, ATT provides an Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver or discount mechanism for authors who meet specific eligibility criteria.
Eligibility for APC Waiver or Discount
An APC waiver or discount may be considered for authors who fulfill one or more of the following conditions:
- Authors affiliated with institutions located in low-income or lower-middle-income countries, based on the classification provided by the World Bank.
- Authors who demonstrate that they have limited or no access to research funding to support publication costs.
- Other exceptional circumstances that may affect the author’s ability to cover the required publication fees.
Application Procedure
Authors who wish to request an APC waiver or discount must submit the request during the manuscript submission process or before the final publication decision.
The request must be submitted by completing the official APC Waiver Form and providing relevant supporting information, including:
- Manuscript title.
- Name and affiliation of the corresponding author.
- Explanation of the reason for requesting an APC waiver or discount.
- Any supporting documents or information related to funding limitations, if applicable.
All waiver and discount applications will be evaluated by the editorial team on a case-by-case basis. The assessment process is conducted separately from the peer-review process and does not influence the editorial evaluation or publication decision.
Transparency Statement
ATT maintains a transparent and independent editorial process. The ability or inability of authors to pay publication fees does not affect the quality assessment, peer-review process, or editorial decision regarding manuscript acceptance or rejection.
The approval of an APC waiver or discount is solely based on the eligibility criteria and financial considerations provided in the waiver application and is not related to the scientific merit, research quality, or editorial outcome of the submitted manuscript.
