This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All content is freely available without charge to the user. Waiver Policy

Authors are eligible for a full waiver or discount on the APC if they are;

1. The corresponding author of the article, and
2. Based in one of the low and middle income countries and regions listed.

An author’s eligibility will not affect peer review or editorial decision-making. APC waivers and discounts are managed by ATT staff. Journal editors or peer reviewers are not informed about APC waiver eligibility or receipt.

How to request an APC waiver or discount:

1. Authors must submit a written request (via email or formal letter) at the time of manuscript acceptance.
2. The request should include a brief explanation of financial constraints and, where applicable, information on institutional or funding support.
